Admission Requirements

  • Minimum GRE scores (required for all non-ABET accredited M.E. undergraduate degrees): 700 quantitative, 450 verbal
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related discipline.  Applicants in a related discipline are typically required to complete additional coursework.
  • Official transcript from undergraduate institution
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement of objectives (500 words maximum)

Additional Information
Strong research programs in Energy systems, pollution control, CAD/CAM/CIM, Robotics, Materials Processing and Manufacturing. Two research centers and several other projects employ several students as Research Assistants.
