• Master of Arts in African Studies Certificate Programs
• Graduate Certificates in African Community Health Services, Contemporary History, Environmental Sustainability, Geographic Information Science (GIS), Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and Women’s Studies may be earned in conjunction with the MA degree.

Additional Information
1. The African Studies Program is a National Resource Center for African Languages and Area Studies. As an interdisciplinary program, students take courses in a number of fields and after completing core requirements are able to tailor the program to their fields of interest.
2. We currently offer instruction in seven African languages.
