Application and Admission

Thank you for your interest in graduate study at Ohio University. It is important that you read and understand the following before proceeding:

Do NOT use this application to apply for any of the following:
Undergraduate Admissions Adding a certificate program to an existing degree
program (current Ohio University graduate students). Visit the Graduate College at RTEC 220 or call 740-593-2800.
College of Osteopathic Medicine
Master of Public Health
Online Master of Health Administration

When submitting your application online, you will need to supply a credit card number or electronic check (U.S. bank only). If you choose to submit this application, you will be charged a NON-REFUNDABLE application fee. If you submit an application in error, you will NOT receive a refund.

To change or correct application information already submitted, please email the appropriate Record Manager at Graduate Studies based on your last name initial and citizenship status. If you attempt to make changes via this online application after you have submitted it, you will be charged another NON-REFUNDABLE application fee.

If you experience difficulty with the online application form, you may click on the Help link (bottom of each page of the application) or send an email to help@applyweb.com. If you receive no response after 24 hours, please call 503-973-5213 from 7AM-6PM Pacific Standard Time Monday to Friday.

If you have completed your application online, do not send a paper application or a hard (paper) copy of the online application to us because this will slow down processing of your application.

As with online applications, the application fee is not refundable.

Security Information: Your debit/credit card/bank account information is encrypted during transmission from your browser to our server and during payment authorization.  None of your debit/credit card/bank account information is stored in our database.

To facilitate your application, please collect all required transcripts in sealed envelopes and mail your application materials as described in the application checklist. Checklists are located in the navigation on the left of this page.

Official test scores must be requested from the appropriate testing agency for reporting to Ohio University. Our institution code is 1593.


You only need to complete one online application for each degree program to which you are applying.  Once payment is authorized, your application is on its way to us and you can no longer make changes to it.
