Located between Indonesia and Malaysia, Singapore is in the heart of Southeast Asia and has benefitted from its auspicious location. With strong international trading links and a highly developed free market economy, Singapore has become one of the world's most cosmopolitan and prosperous countries. There is no language requirement for this exchange. English is one of four official languages of Singapore and classes at NTU are taught in English.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is among the top 10 universities in Asia and in the top 50 worldwide. . It is located in the southwestern region of Singapore, is the academic home to more than 33,000 undergraduate and graduate students from around the globe. Eligibility and selection process:
This program is open to OHIO undergraduate students of all majors who have a minimum GPA of 2.5. As part of the application, students will submit two letters of reference and an essay. They must also meet with OEA staff for an in-person interview.
Students who will be on probation at any point during the program for a judicial offense that took place less than a calendar year from the program start date may not study abroad. Click here to read the entire judicial policy.
Applicants must be matriculated OHIO students. Non-OHIO applicants must have successfully completed high school or its equivalent.

NTU has 16 residence halls across the campus housing some 9,200 students. All new exchange students are guaranteed on-campus housing. There are a range of room types (single, double, etc.) that vary from building to building. Off-campus options are also available.
Courses and credits: Semester or Year Option
If you stdy at NTU for a full semester or acadenic year, you can choose from a variety of credits in business, communication, arts and humanities, social science, and physical sciences. Courses and credits: Summer Option
NTU offers several themed tracks during summer session. In the past these have included a Chinese language and culture track; a creative writing track stretching across the genres of poetry, prose and film; and programs focused on building entrepreneurship competencies and gaining new insights into global skillsets required in today's corporate world. These programs are taught by NTU faculty from the College of Business, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and the Nanyang Technoentrepreneurship Center.
