Scholarships
In general, the scholarships listed below are restricted to second-year GLC students and certificate holders who are in good standing (academic & professional) in the GLC.
Paul W. Heng - Unigen Scholarship Fund (Cambodia)
This scholarship assists the University of Cambodia (especially the Leadership and Career Development Center - LCDC) with its rapid (and impressive) expansion and aids in developing a more robust relationship between the University of Cambodia and Ohio University.
This scholarship provides for travel, housing, and daily living expenses for Ohio University students and/or professors and/or staff over a two year period. At UC, they would work with on a variety of projects to strengthen the LCDC, e.g., planning and delivering workshops, conferences, seminars, etc.
Karen and Jim Reynolds Scholarships
The scholarships, made available by these GLC Advisory Board members, are available to GLC students for a variety of uses, but especially for conducting research related to GLC projects.
Stephen & Elinda Wing Appalachian Scholarships
These scholarships, provided by the parents of two GLC alumni (Nick and Emily), are meant to assist students from Appalachian counties (or, on occasion, African-American and/or other minority students) for expenses associated with international travel.
Global Leadership Center Alumni Scholarships
The scholarships, established by GLC alumni donations, are generally to be used to assist with international travel expenses.
Greg Emery Scholarships
These scholarships, established by Dr. Emery, are available to GLC students for a variety of uses, but especially for conducting primary research (site visits, focus group sessions, etc.) related to GLC projects.
Gayle D. McKerrow Scholarships
The scholarships are available to enhance the ability of the GLC to carry out its mission.
