I am currently the manager of global external communications at Celanese Corporation, a $7 billion chemical company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. I oversee media relations and crisis communications activities for a company that conducts about 60% of its business outside of North America, primarily in Europe and Asia. I am also completing an MBA degree at Southern Methodist University. My advanced project work and team-based curriculum with the GLC, as well as the global exposure, prepared me unbelievable well for the current environment in which I work and study. Prior to this current role, I was the communications manager at SST Truck Company, in Garland, Texas, a subsidiary of Navistar International Corporation, based in Chicago, where I began my career in Corporate Communications after graduating from Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in journalism in 2001.
