I'm working in Chicago at Valerie Denney Communications, which is a public relations and communications firm that specializes in public interest campaigns. Some of our clients include The MacArthur Foundation, Chicago Public Schools, and The Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. I do research, some media outreach and analysis, and help with event planning. I'm having a great time - I live about five blocks from where the White Sox play and have already found plenty of great karaoke spots and thrift stores.
