I graduated from the College of Business Administration of the Ohio University in summer 2002 and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix Online in winter 2006. I also hold a Certificate of Global Studies from the Ohio University - Global Leadership Center (GLC), a two year certificate program that requires extensive consultative experiences in the United States and abroad.
The GLC helped me prepare for my career as Branch Manager of FirstMerit Bank headquartered in Akron, OH. I will never forget the time I worked with a customer who lived in Cuenca, Ecuador it was very easy for me to make sure that her mail was forwarded correctly to Cuenca, because I had traveled to Cuenca. I was able to immediately find commonality with this customer. Visiting Cuenca, Ecuador has been one of my most memorable experiences. I also work as a Relief Habilitation Specialist for Ardmore Inc. headquartered in Akron, O H, where I attend to the needs of mentally retarded/developmentally disabled (MRDD) clients.
Additionally, I am a Notary Public for the State of Ohio. I serve as a member of various organizations including: the finance committee at my church, Arlington Church of God; Treasurer and Graduate of the United Way - Project Blueprint and member of The Akron Urban League's Young Professionals (Akron, OH Chapter). I am also a guest speaker for the Jr. Executive Business Program for Minorities College of Business, Ohio University.
