I just got hired by Sogeti USA and am now training to be a Consultant in their Managed Testing practice out of their Columbus, OH office.

I will be assigned to client projects as a software tester where I will work with developers, business analysts and clients to ensure the highest quality product that satisfies the client’s requirements.  Sogeti’s Test Management Approach or TMap is a world renowned standard for structured software testing.

Sogeti is part of the international Capgemini organization, a leading global IT and consulting company specialized in local professional IT services with over 40 years of global experience. Headquartered in Paris, France Sogeti has 16,000 employees in more than 200 offices across 13 countries. The Capgemini organization as a whole has nearly 67,000 employees.

The combination of my MIS and International business degree with my Certificate from the GLC is a perfect match for this global IT consulting company.  In my training program we have employees from Hong Kong, Czech Republic and India so even though we work locally its still international which keeps it interesting.  I hope to travel to some of Sogeti’s global offices in the future.  It is still just the beginning as I have only been there for two weeks but the future looks bright and we’ll see where this takes me!
