You must assume responsibility for knowing university, college, and
departmental regulations and for complying with all applicable procedures.
In no case will a requirement be waived or an exception granted because
you plead ignorance of the requirement or assert that your advisor or another
authority did not inform you of the requirement. While the personnel of
the Office of Graduate Student Services and your advisor will endeavor to
aid in every way possible, the responsibility for meeting requirements stated
in this catalog rests with you.
