Faculty & Staff Meal Plan Options

Faculty & Staff Meal Plans increase interaction between students and Ohio staff outside of the classroom. This further strengthens Ohio University as the best student-centered learning experience in America. Faculty & Staff meal plans last for an entire academic year and are loaded onto an Ohio ID. The following meal plans are available to all Ohio University Faculty & Staff:

The Culinary Passport Plan (<- click here) offers $150 in Flex Points and is open to any faculty & staff member. This plan is good at West 82, Front Room, Latitude 39, Cafe BiblioTech, Nelson Cafe, all Dining Halls and all Grab N' Go's. Points will not be accepted at Bobcat Essentials, any campus markets, in vending machines or laundry centers. All Points will expire on the last day of the academic year. One Point equals $1.00. Points are non-refundable.
2011-12 price is $135/year. 

2012-13 price is $135/year.

Faculty/Staff may purchase a Connect 20 meal plan (<- click here). The Connect 20 meal plan is any 20 meals that may be used in any of our dining halls and Grab N' Go's. The 20 meals are valid until the last day of the academic year. Meal plan holders may bring as many guests as they have meals.
2011-12 price is $100/year.

2012-13 price is $105/year.

Faculty/Staff may purchase a Connect 10 (<- click here). The Connect 10 meal plan is any 10 meals that may be used in any of our dining halls and Grab N' Go's. The 10 meals are valid until the last day of the academic year. Meal plan holders may bring as many guests as they have meals.
2011-12 price is $60/year.

2012-13 price is $65/year.

Flex Points are an internal currency to be used at West 82, The Front Room, Latitude 39, OU-COM SAF Cafe, Cafe BiblioTech, Nelson Cafe, all Dining Halls and all Grab N' Go's. Points will not be accepted at Bobcat Essentials, any campus markets, in vending machines or laundry centers. All Points are loaded onto an Ohio University issued ID card and will expire on the last day of the academic year (Faculty & Staff Meal Plans Only). One Point equals $1.00 and points are deducted in exact amounts (one cent increments).

What is the advantage of Flex Points? Flex points can be purchased at a reduced rate which allows your dollars to go further. They are also valid at retail locations on campus which makes them particularly attractive to Faculty and Staff. 

Bobcat Cash is money put on an account (similar to a prepaid debit card) that can be used at the dining halls, convenience stores, vending machines, laundry centers and various on campus dining and retail operations. Simply add money to this account and then use the Ohio University-issued ID card to access this service. Additional deposits can be added as needed throughout the academic year. Bobcat Cash cannot be used off-campus, does not allow for cash withdrawals and cannot be used to purchase textbooks. Bobcat Cash account balances will automatically carry over to each new semester and / or academic year, provided the cardholder remains a registered student or employee of Ohio University.
