Now in its sixth year, the 2014 Ohio University Piano Pedagogy Seminar provides piano teachers and students with valuable professional enrichment opportunities through a series of energizing workshops, master classes, and performances. This year's program will explore a variety of relevant and stimulating pedagogical topics. Participants will have opportunities to share ideas and engage in dialogue with clinicians and with one another through round-table discussions and informal conversations. The event is held on the Athens campus of Ohio University in the scenic hills of southeast Ohio.­

New This Year – A Special Pre-Seminar Option!
June 12-13, 2014

The inaugural Piano Safari Summer Teacher institute will provide participants with an overview of this innovative new piano method that is being used by piano teachers and students worldwide. This series of workshops will cover the core features of the method while addressing a host of creative and effective strategies for teaching beginning-level piano students. All participants will receive a complementary Level 1 Pack, which includes Repertoire Book I, Sight Reading and Rhythm Cards I, and Compact Disc.
