The Theater Division offers professionally oriented BFA and MFA degrees, an Honors Tutorial College degree, a liberal arts BA or a minor in theater.
Students graduate with a minimum of 120 semester credit hours; that includes general education classes and major only classes. A minor in theater can supplement the undergraduate education of a student majoring in any other discipline. The theater minor is structured to allow for a general theater sampling. A student interested in pursuing a theater minor will take a sampling of courses in theater history, acting, playwriting, and production design and technology, as well as stage management.
The Ohio University School of Dance, Film, and Theater: Theater Division is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theater (NAST).
