The School of Theater offers MFA programs in Directing, Performance, Playwriting and Production Design and Technology as well as an MA in General Theater and an MA Theater History and Criticism.

Professional Acting Program - MFA 5132 The Professional Acting Program will be auditioning for the next class in 2014/2015 for a start date of fall 2015

Professional Directing Program - MFA5130 The Professional Directing Program will be recruiting this year for the 2013-14 academic year, off for 2014-15 and then recruiting again for 2015-16 and 2016-17.

Professional Playwriting Program - MFA5135 The Professional Playwriting Program accepts a selective class each fall.

Production Design and Technology - MFA5159 (Design) MFA5160 (Technical Theater) The Production Design and Technology Program accepts a group of talented designers and technicians each fall.

General Theater - MA 5138 Accepting applications in most areas, on a case by case basis. E-mail theater@ohio.edu for information in your program of interest.

History and Criticism - MA 5129 Currently on hiatus, not accepting applications.
