MFA Alumna Launches Kickstarter Campaign Based on Thesis Film

Jul 23, 2014

Based on her OU Film thesis narrative entitled "Jess Archer vs. The Ex," 2011 MFA graduate Amy Taylor has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the original web series, "Jess Archer Versus." The series will follow protagonist Jess Archer and her comedic pursuit of solving mysteries that take place in her own high school. Much like Taylor's thesis narrative, "Jess Archer Versus" draws inspiration from the problem-solving hit show "Veronica Mars," as well as filmmaker Edgar Wright's comedic and graphic storytelling style.

Taylor's Kickstarter campaign is active until Wed., Aug. 6, 2014, so long as it reaches its goal of $15,000
