Matt Fillmore's Body Dialectic Selected to Film Fests

School of Film thesis student Matt Fillmore's film Body Dialectic has been accepted to three festivals to date.  The film surveys the life and work of Kris/Kristen Grey/Justin Credible, a performance artist who mobilizes transgender issues by the means of personal experience and reflection, and embraces the historical use of the personal to make larger political claims that do not attempt to neatly categorize the polymorphous relationship between gender and bodies.

Jun 1, 2015 In April, H.T.C./B.F.A. student Luke Szabados traveled to the 2015 Skepto International Film Festival in Cagliari, Italy, where he screened his short film, The Rubric Timestamped. Szabados wrote and directed the experimental film as one of three films completed during his first year in the M.F.A. program.
