Produced by Perez’s Chiwake Films and released by Wide House, Finding Gaston follows world-renowned Peruvian chef Gaston Acurio on his journey to use his culinary talents to foster national identity and pride. Perez shows Acurio as more than an award-winning chef, author and entrepreneur and provides a lens into the personal experiences and inspirations that make Acurio a national hero. Perez followed Acurio for two years - traveling to England, Spain, Sweden and the U.S. – to discover the storytelling power of Peruvian cuisine.
