Bridget Bedard is a Los Angeles-based television writer. She wrote for Mad Men, which won a Golden Globe, a Peabody, an Emmy and Writer’s Guild Award for Best New Series during her tenure. She went on to write for Ray Romano’s critically aclaimed Men of a Certain Age, which won a Peabody and was nominated for a Writer’s Guild Award for Best New Series. As writer-producer, Bedard recently completed a season of The Wedding Band on TNT and the first season of 1600 Penn, a new show on NBC.
Additionally, she was granted the Garnier Award for Most Promising New Director through Film Independent, which was announced at the Independent Spirit Awards. Her film work has been supported by numerous grants and foundations including Screen Gems, Inc., the National Endowment for the Arts, and The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. She currently has several feature films in development.
