Trevor Snell graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2009, majoring in Film & New Media, Film Studies, and Broadcasting Production. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to work on several film and television projects in addition to regularly volunteer at the American Cinematheque’s two movie theatres: Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood and The Aero Theatre in Santa Monica. Trevor’s research interests include: American Cinema (1930s – 1980s), banned, censored, and controversial films, British Kitchen-Sink Realism, French New Wave, genres (comedy, crime, horror, noir, and science fiction), and forgotten or obscure films.
