Megan Marzec (BFA Sculpture + Expanded Practice) performed as one of the 7 Glandettes in Linda Mary Montano's performance on November 17th at Alec Duffy's newly opened alternative art space, JACK, in Brooklyn, NY. Montano lead a blessing of the new space and confessional ceremony featuring the the chokras in line with her work exploring how artistic ritual can be used to enhance a person's daily life, to create the opportunity for attentional spiritual energy states, to encourage inner silence and to alter the cessation of art/life boundaries. The performance was followed by a 12 hour lock in workshop for the performers to share in art, nourishment and rest.
