Dan has been engaged in education since 2006 teaching a variety of courses across the design curriculum. Prior to design education, Dan practiced design professionally in various capacities, primarily contract interiors. Dan holds a MID as well as an MA in Sociology and is a professional member of IDEC (Interior Design Educators Council) and has been certified by NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification). Dan’s research interests include housing and the evolution of the meaning of ‘home’ as well as work styles and workplace applications.
Dan is also a Visiting Assistant Professor in Interior Architecture in the School of Art + Design.
