John Sabraw comes to Ohio University School of Art from University City, Missouri. He is an Assistant Professor in the Studio Foundations department. Before coming to Ohio University, he was in his fourth year teaching full-time at the Washington University and his third year as Assistant Professor. The majority of his teaching load has been in drawing and conceptual methodology courses. John has served two years as the Chair of Foundations at Washington University. He has previous experience as a designer, illustrator, author, admissions officer, recruiter, and career counselor, which helped to prepare him for a broad range of art career from first hand knowledge. John holds an AOS in Illustration from Pratt Institute, NY, NY, a BFA in Painting from University of Kansas, and an MFA in Painting from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
