Directors of over 25 student film productions from the MFA Film Program are looking for actors of all ages - no previous acting experience is necessary.

The Ohio University’s Film Division is a highly competitive MFA Program offering diverse practical training to graduate students from across the world. Over the course of three years the filmmakers build a professional portfolio of film-work that emphasizes their unique visions as artists and craftsmen.
The General Auditions is a perfect opportunity to showcase your talent and to meet the filmmakers face to face. It is an excellent way to gain on set and on camera experience, and to add an exciting material to your demo reel. It is an invitation to build long-term relationships with the future industry frontrunners.
The films are made under the SAG/AFTRA Student Film Agreement - current union members are welcomed.

Letters from South(2013) is a compilation of six short films made by directors from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar and China. The collections deal with the Chinese diasporic experiences around Southeast Asian region. The collection has been shown in Busan Film Festival in South Korea, International Film Festival Rotterdam and Golden Horse Film Festival in Taiwan.
Dr. Charles Buchanan, Director of the School of Interdisciplinary Arts, and a specialist in medieval manuscript illumination, will give a talk and slideshow based on a chapter from his forthcoming book.
