1.) Since when have OHIO employees been able to join the Emerald Club? Is this a recent development?
a. Ohio University employees have always had the ability to join the National Rental Car program called Emerald Aisle. However, National Rental Car was acquired by Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the renamed Emerald Club now includes cars rented through both companies.
2.) How long have Enterprise and National been preferred vendors?
a. We signed an agreement with Enterprise on July 2, 2008 and one with National Rental Car on January 15, 2009.
