Information about insurance coverage while on university authorized travel:
No form of rental company insurance is allowable for travel within the United States. University insurance policies cover employees during authorized domestic travel. Comprehensive and collision claims are subject to a $500 deductible to be charged to the appropriate department. Liability coverage has no deductible. Rental Company insurance is suggested and allowable for travel outside the USA only.
