View or Print eStatement Guide

Access NetService

The Electronic Statement (ES) functionality allows cardholders to print their statement from a secured site generally within two days after the account cycles.

The ES feature works in conjunction with NetService.  The feature is automatically turned on when cardholders log in to the Netservice web site. Cardholders can turn off this functionality at any time.

The ES feature allows customers the ability to view, download, or print their current statement without having to wait for mail delivery.  It uses the industry-standard Portable Document Format (PDF) to generate viewable statements files.  The ES feature retains the same look and feel of the traditional printed paper statement.  Key features of the electronic statements are:

  • Email notification when statement is available
  • Quicker access to statement information
  • Historical view of past statements (12 months)
  • Automatic account enrollment for new users
  • Automatic enrollment for existing users
  • Ability to turn off electronic statement feature at any time

Other features include:

  • Digitally secure authentication
  • Integrated with current NetService functionality

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for Electronic Statements?

The next time you login to NetService, you will automatically be enrolled in Electronic Statements.  Going forward, you will have the ability to see 12 cycles of statements online.  You will receive one final paper statement in the mail the following cycle.

What will my Electronic Statement look like?

The Electronic Statement is an identical digital copy of the current paper statement that you receive today.

How do I view my Electronic Statement?

You can access your Electronic Statements by clicking the "View E-Statement" hyperlink found within NetService.  This can be accessed from either the "Account Summary" section, or from the "Review Transactions" page, in the NetService online system.

Will I receive a notice that my statement is available?

Yes!  Approximately 24 hours after your billing cycle ends, an email will automatically be sent to you from NetService.  This notice will alert you that statements are available for viewing, and will contain instructions on how to view your statement.  This notification will be sent to the email address provided in the "My Profile" section of your NetService login.

If I am not a NetService user, can I see my statement electronically?

ES functionality is only available for NetService users.  Because PDFs of statements contain secure information, GE requires this functionality to be held in a secure environment, which NetService provides.

If I am creating a new NetService ID, how do I enroll for electronic statements?

Enrollment into ES receipt happens automatically upon creation of a new NetService User ID for supported account billing types.  All individual accounts qualify for electronic statements.  After you establish an ID, you are presented with a Congratulations page that confirms the account has been enrolled to view electronic statements.

What if I am an existing NetService User, how do I enroll?

Upon your first login attempt, you receive a confirmation page that indicates you are automatically enrolled to view electronic statements.  You receive one more paper statement then all subsequent statements are retrieved online.  Only individual accounts will be enrolled for electronic statements.

Is there a charge for this service?

No.

What if I do not want my account enrolled in the ES feature?

If your account type qualifies, you are automatically enrolled for electronic statements upon your next login to NetServie.  If you wish to cancel ES enrollment, you simply go to the My Profile tab and click on the hyperlink titled "DisEnroll from electronic statements."

Upon clicking the hyperlink you will be asked a few simple questions.  A confirmation page verifies that the account will be disenrolled from electronic statements.

Once I turn off my electronic statement, how long will I be able to view my old statements online?

The ES functionality will be available for 90 days after a cardholder disables the feature.  After the 90 day period, the cardholder will not be able to see any statements online.

Once I turn off electronic statements can I turn it back on?

Yes, there is a standard hyperlink on the My Profile Tab that allows you to reenroll.  Once the ReEnroll hyperlink is selected, you will receive one more paper statement then you will have access to ES PDFs once again.

How many statements will be available when I first enroll?

At the initial launch of this feature, all statements from August 2007 will be available.  After your account has cycled twelve times from the August 2007 date, the system will display a rolling 12 months worth of statements.  If you are a new customer, you will only see the number of statements that are available based on how many times your account has cycled, up to the prior 12 cycles.

What if I disenroll then reenroll in the ES feature?  How many months of history will I be able to see upon reenrollment?

The number of months the account has cycled will determine the number of statement available to the cardholder.  If your account has been open for more than 12 months upon reenrollment, you will have access to all 12 months' worth of history, even if during that time you received a paper statement.

What if my email address changes?  How will I be notified that my statement PDF is available?

As long as you have NetService access, you can navigate to the My Profile tab and update and update personal information, including an email address.

What happens if my NetService ID is deleted?

When a NetService user enrolled in electronic statements is deleted from the system, the user returns to the account's previous statement settings.*

* If a user is locked out of the system, the ES feature continues to generate PDFs and to notify the user by email.  Please contact the PCard Helpline at 740-597-OHIO (6446) for assistance.

Am I responsible for my statement if I do not receive notification that my statement pdf is available?

Cardholders are still responsible for their statement even if they do not receive a statement notification.  The ES system generates notification to the email address established in the My Profile Tab.  The email address is the responsibility of the NetService user.  If the email address is not maintained and kept current, you may not receive notification.  Our Customer Service Department receives monthly notification of all ES-enrolled cardholders that do not receive notification.  Our representatives work these bounced-back emails in the same manner as returned mail.

Users should get in the habit of checking NetService two days after the cycle date to view the new statement PDF.

What software is required to view my eStatement?

All electronic statements appear in PDF format requiring Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® to access.

What if I do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on my computer?

On the NetService site there is a hyperlink customers can access and download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

How secure is the network?

NetService employs multiple levels of security to ensure the safety, authenticity and confidentiality of all business transactions.  Cardholder registrations are thoroughly screened to validate all information, including name, account number, and account ownership.  Each transaction triggers an audit trail, which you can review at any time.

What are the global capabilities of the new functionality?
