The WorkForce system was successfully upgraded on March 28, 2014. 

As a reminder, the WorkForce Training Page (http://www.ohio.edu/finance/payroll/workforcepage.cfm) includes the updated documentation for the system.  Consider checking out the Quick Reference Guides, settings document and the updated manuals that have been posted.  Documents have been posted about the WorkForce reports including a cross-reference document that compares old reports to new reports. 

Two changes that managers approving timesheets should be aware of:

  • Manager approval of work schedule changes – Managers who need to extend schedules to accommodate the use of PTO with overtime worked, can now make the adjustments to the employee’s schedule while viewing the timesheet.  It is no longer necessary to navigate to another area in WorkForce before approving the timesheet.  For more information, please refer to the Temporary Schedule Changes for Current Time Sheets section of the Manager Time Sheet Approval Quick Reference Guide (http://www.ohio.edu/finance/payroll/upload/WF-Manager-Time-Sheet-Approval-Quick-Ref-Guide.pdf)
  • Manager amending existing timesheets – We have new functionality for processing missed or incorrectly reported time from a previous pay period.
