Community of Science - PIVOT
Search the fellowship and grant database by academic discipline, academic level, nationality, and more. First you must register at http://www.cos.com; note the first time you must use a computer connected to the OU network. You will receive a confirmation email. Once you confirm your registration you can then use your username and password to sign into PIVOT, http://pivot.cos.com from any computer.
Search Tips: You can make your search as broad or narrow as you'd like. Start with a broad search to see what types of opportunities are available. Then narrow the search. The Advanced Search option makes searches more refined. In addition to using subject-driven terms, you can indication the following (1) funding type-scholarship or fellowship, grant, postdoctoral award, dissertation or thesis, etc.; (2) citizenship or residency requirements or (3) keywords.

Foundation Center Directory Online
Search information on foundations, corporate giving programs, grantmaking public charities and their grants.To use this search engine, you must go to http://www.library.ohiou.edu/find/index.html and type "Foundation directory Online" in the prompt box for Alice Online Catalog to access the university's account.
