The Ursula and Gilbert Farfel Prize for Excellence in Investigative Reporting

Entrants should use our online awards site to submit PDFs or links to their work that function via a standard web browser. The dates of publication should be visible. Submit as originally presented.

$50 entry fee.

Prize is $15,000 and a trophy. Entry form asks for name and contact information for individual entrant, a team when up to four are involved, or a media outlet when more than four are involved. Expanded recognition will be given should a media outlet win and want to name more than four individuals.

Winner agrees to attend awards presentation April 26, 2012 at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit, home of Scripps television station WXYZ. Winner or a representative from the winning team agrees to deliver a presentation about the story or series at Ohio University in Athens during the 2012-13 academic year; expenses paid.
