Parking Info
To ensure safe and orderly movement of vehicular traffic and to allow access for emergency vehicles, Parking Services and the Ohio University Police Department ask that you follow the guidelines outlined below:
All vehicles must be in a legal space
Vehicles are not allowed on the grass or in the driveways leading to buildings
Ohio University parking lots are open from after 5 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Sunday, EXCEPT for the following lots:
- Lots 50, 53, 54, 55, and 153
- the University Garages
- Posted Restricted Spaces
Illegally parked vehicles will be cited and removed at the owner's expense.

Local hotels fill quickly for this special weekend, so please book your room early. An extensive list of hotels and their contact information is available at the Athens County Convention and Visitors Bureau site or call at 1-800-878-9767 for assistance.

Directions to Athens are available online. An online campus map is also available.
In Case of Emergency...
If a family member needs to get a message to a visiting parent and is uncertain how to contact him or her, they should contact the Ohio University Police Department at 740-593-1911 or e-mail police@ohio.edu.
Lost Luggage?
Should a parent lose their luggage, or if any kind of emergency arises, he or she should contact the Ohio University Police Department at 740-593-1911. |

The first family weekend of the school year is in honor of parents. All moms and dads are invited to join us for a few days to relax amidst the beauty of the Ohio University campus.

All dads are invited to visit their students for a very special weekend just for you.
Sibs Weekend
February 6-8, 2009
One of the first and best family weekends. Big and little sibs are invited to have a taste of college life and time to bond with their brother or sister. Cousins are welcome, too.
Winter Parents Weekend
