2013 Capital Plan Update:

FY14 Annual Capital Plan Update:  June to the Board of Trustees.  The annual update includes a listing of University Capital projects anticipated to begin in fiscal year 2014.

Six Year Capital Plan Update FY15 through FY20: We will be submitting this update in the Fall timeframe. The six year update will provide a 6 year view, organized by biennium.  From now until Fall, we will be reviewing information we gather from sessions like the one we had with you along with funding availability, timing, etc.

CIP-Annual Update:

On Friday, June 22nd, 2012, the Board of Trustees approved the FY2013 annual Capital Improvement Plan Update:

CIP-6 and 20 year plans:

On Friday, November 18th, 2011 the Board of Trustees approved the first six years of a 20 year context capital improvement plan:

The six year capital improvement plan:

• Addresses top programmatic needs.

• Utilizes debt issuance for major rehabilitation of general fund buildings that will include programmatic reconfiguration.

• Utilizes anticipated state appropriations to provide for projects to adequately keep up our newer general fund buildings and tackle deferred maintenance projects in our older general fund buildings.

• Utilizes swing space so we can vacate buildings and do a better job of upgrading systems.

• Leverages gift and grant funding.

• Utilizes Residential Housing Auxiliary debt to upgrade housing stock and offer more options.

• Utilizes performance contracting to implement energy conservation measures with payment from the central utility account over a 15 year payback period.

• Utilizes public/private partnership to fund a Heating Plant Replacement.
