Psychological Conditions Eligibility Requirements Psychological disabilities may cover a broad range of disorders such as neurosis, psychoses, and personality disorders. Qualified students must present documentation of diagnosis from an appropriately qualified practitioner and a request for accommodation must be presented in advance of need. Documentation must include a complete evaluation with relevant background information, evidence of diagnosis that substantially limits one or more major life functions based on the criteria published in the DSM-IV (American Psychiatric Association, 1994), and suggestions for accommodations in an academic setting. Disability Student Services will review the documentation, verify the disability, and determine with the student the relevant accommodations and services to meet the student's individual needs. - The clinic offer an array of services, including intelligence and neuropsychological assessment, psychological testing, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder assessments, and learning disability assessment. Graduate student clinicians under the direct supervision of licensed psychologist faculty members provide these services.
