Office for Institutional Equity 

 

Mission Statement:

The Office for Institutional Equity (“OIE”) is charged with monitoring the University’s compliance with federal, state and institutional policy guidelines that promote a non-discriminatory and harassment-free environment. This includes investigating complaints of discrimination or harassment, making policy recommendations, advising units about hiring process, offering mandated training within the University community, ensuring educational and/or workplace support services for persons with disabilities, and monitoring compliance with the University's own affirmative action initiatives.
