  • Energy issue: Dr. Kremer explains how important it is for students to solve important engineering problems.
  • A fuel of the future: Students in Dr. Gerri Botte's lab are developing cost-efficient, environmentally friendly fuels.
  • The wonders of algae: Dr. Ben Stuart is harnessing nature to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions and create a new energy source.
  • Advancing education: Russ College graduate students are developing educational video games used by local schools.
  • Academic & Research Center (ARC): In the ARC, now under construction, students, researchers, faculty and staff from the Russ College and the College of Osteopathic Medicine will work together to develop life-changing projects that pioneer new frontiers in technology - including biomedical engineering.
  • Inexpensive hydrogen fuel idea becomes reality: Five years ago a scientist wrote a thermodynamic calculation on a piece paper and wondered about the possibilities. On August 2nd, 2007 she watched as officials signed a licensing agreement that will make that idea a reality. Dr. Gerri Botte's theory about an economical way to create hydrogen power has been successfully tested in the lab, and now American Hydrogen Power Corp. will take her research to the market place.
