An exciting new development in the Russ College of Engineering and Technology for 2007-2008 will be the start of construction on the new integrated learning and research facility. Modeled after a modern working environment, the facility’s open design will foster collaboration and teamwork among students, faculty, and staff. Project hangars, pathways, a central living room, and studios with flexible furniture will replace traditional classrooms, labs, and student lounges.  This new facility will open in academic year 2008-2009.

Another new development at Ohio University is the upcoming opening of the new Baker University Center. The building will be the new centerpiece of campus and will become the crossroads, or gathering place, for the entire University community.
