Turn trash to treasure in ReUse competition

Want to show off your engineering talents, have fun in a community-based project and maybe win some cash? Local non-profit ReUse Industries is hosting a competition to turn waste and discarded materials into new products or artwork. Top prizes in each of the four categories will be $400, $200 and $150. Apply your engineering skills to real-world challenges as an individual or team entry with two to five people.

An awards ceremony and exhibition will be held on Earth Day, Apr. 22, along with a reception hosted by the Ohio University Office of Sustainability.

Deadlines:

  • March 14: Submit an "intent to enter" form
  • April 1: Final submissions
