Powertrain Operations Manufacturing Engineering at Ford Motors handles the planning, engineering, procurement, installation, capability and launch of manufacturing systems to produce powertrains and related components. Lead and support on-going problem resolution, lean manufacturing processes and investment efficiency actions in one of three roles as a manufacturing or controls engineer. A bachelor’s degree is required.
Mechanical and engineering technology and management majors are preferred for two manufacturing engineering positions in machining and assembly. Electrical engineering majors are preferred for the controls engineer position.
