Richard Rabinow, with more than four decades in the petroleum industry, will present a discussion of the oil and gas industries and career paths. These industries are highly technology-dependent and are constantly pushing the frontiers of technical know-how. The demand for technically trained employees is large and their roles are diverse, including the support of operations, maintenance and project activities; R&D and management. Opportunities include direct involvement in the companies as well as in the large and diverse service industry that provides contract support.
