Better living through chemistry? Join Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Mark McMills to learn how and why various prescription drugs have been brought to market in his Science Café “Modern Drug Discovery” on Wed., March 19, at 5 p.m. in Baker University Center’s Front Room. McMills will touch on two specific drugs: the anti-cancer drug Taxol and a protease inhibitor for treating HIV/AIDS.
Free coffee will be provided for the first 50 attendees.
