Advising

Every Ohio University student is assigned a faculty advisor from his or her major area. Students must meet with their assigned advisor at least once a semester to discuss course scheduling and be cleared for registration. Students should feel free to consult with their advisor any time during the semester to ask advice on any issue of concern from academics to life in Athens. Advisors can also assist students with career planning and other related issues. ISE faculty members maintain individual relationships with their advisees to help each student select courses and activities best suited for the student’s personal interests and career goals.

To prepare for advising, students should review completed courses and any remaining requirements.
