Magazine features work done by BME faculty member

The research of biomedical engineering program faculty member Li Xu, assistant professor of rehabilitation and communication sciences, is featured in the Spring/Summer 2012 edition of Ohio University's Perspectives magazine. In his research, Xu seeks ways to improve the effectiveness of cochlear implants for the users of tonal languages.
Another BME faculty member, Savas Kaya, is among those researchers whose work is examined in another Perspectives article, "Tiny Tech." The article begins on page 34, and Kaya's research is featured on page 36. Kaya is an associate professor of electrical engineering and computer science.
