National Academy of Inventors tabs Kopchick as charter fellow

Biomedical engineering program faculty member John Kopchick is one of two Ohio University professors recently named charter fellows of the National Academy of Inventors.

Kopchick, Goll Ohio Eminent Scholar and professor of molecular biology, and Gerardine Botte, Russ Professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering, will be inducted as fellows by the U.S. commissioner for patents, Margaret Focarino, Feb. 22 at the annual conference of the National Academy of Inventors in Tampa, Fla.
