Freshman Orientation
Ohio University's freshman orientation was held Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006. The ambassadors were on hand to answer questions, guide students to the proper classrooms, and create a welcoming atmosphere. Officers of extra curricular groups, professors, and upperclassmen were also present to help new Russ College students gain a better understanding of what to expect from their first quarter in the Russ College. The event concluded with a lobby gathering of all who attended with refreshments served.
The ambassadors evening was capped off by a catered dinner. Giant taco salads were the highlight of the menu. The shells that encased the giant taco salads intimidated several ambassadors, who will remain nameless. After eating, the group discussed current events before calling it a night.
