Engineering Ambassador Activities 2004-2005
First-Year Student Orientation
Ohio University’s first university-wide first-year student orientation was held September 5, 2004, with the Russ College’s events in Stocker Center. Several Engineering Ambassadors, along with students from various engineering organizations, served as student leaders.
As new students entered the building, they were given a program handout and directed to specific classrooms according to their intended majors. Student leaders then led the major-specific groups through a series of ice-breakers. After a snack break, the students attended short informational sessions about engineering organizations.
