Dr. Damilola Daramola is the multiscale modeling scientist at the Center for Electrochemical Engineering. Daramola has been at Ohio University for 11 years: first as an undergraduate in Chemical Engineering, then as a PhD candidate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and is now a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. Daramola has also been involved in other extra-curricular activities at the Russ College – as a Robe Leadership Institute Scholar, a member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Theta Tau. Daramola’s interests lie where quantum chemistry, material science and reaction engineering intersect and he has 3 peer-reviewed publications in these research areas. When he isn’t playing around with molecular models, he is watching Cleveland sports, Arsenal Football Club and the Nigerian National team or reading history books and autobiographies.
