Dr. Reeves joined the Ohio University faculty in 1974. Previously he taught for two years in the secondary public schools in Kentucky, worked in the plastics molding industry for two years, and worked in the construction industry for eight years. His primary teaching areas are fluid power, materials science, and polymer processes.


Research Interests: Shock attenuation devices for sports equipment (sponsored by Zide Enterprizes); Design/Development of automated sealing devices (sponsored by Diagnostic Hybrids); Design/Development of automated bar sorting machinery (sponsored by Birmingham Steel); Design/Development of automated wax saturation system (sponsored by Sullivan and Gulden Company)

Something you may not know about me: Dr. Reeves builds acoustic guitars as a hobby.
