Dr. Michael Braasch is a Thomas Professor of Electrical Engineering and a Principal Investigator with the Avionics Engineering Center at Ohio University. Mike's research deals with navigation systems including ILS, MLS, VOR, Loran-C, DME, INS and GPS. He is internationally recognized for his work in characterizing GPS multipath and is one of the originators of the integrated multipath-limiting antenna for GPS. Mike has served as a visiting scientist at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and has lectured for NATO AGARD. He has co-authored chapters for the AIAA books on GPS in addition to numerous conference papers and journal articles. Mike is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Ohio and is an instrument-rated commercial pilot.
