Non-Ohio University programs

In addition to the dozens of programs offered directly by Ohio University, students have access to literally thousands more programs offered by other outside providers. This list is a sample of the numerous opportunities available to students.
  • Ohio International Consortium- These programs are run by universities within the state of Ohio and are often similar in cost and structure to OU programs.
  • Cultural Experiences Abroad - CEA offers programs throughout Europe, Latin America, and Australia. As an affiliate organization, OU students may carry their institution financial aid on CEA programs and may be eligible for scholarships and other opportunities.
  • American Institute for Foreign Study - AIFS has programs in Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Canada, South Africa, and China and offers multi-country and internship opportunities. opportunities.   • Academic Programs International - API manages mostly European programs including Ireland and Hungary. As an affiliate organization, OU students may carry their institutional financial aid on API programs and may be eligible for scholarships and other opportunities.
  • www.iiepassport.org and www.studyabroad.com are sites that offer a search engine style of program listings. Students can input factors such as location, desired subjects, and time frame for studying abroad and the site will display potential opportunities.
  • American Intercontinental University- AIU offers coursework and internships in London, England and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Classes operate on a quarter system, which can be helpful to OU students.
  • International Studies Abroad - ISA provides many programs all over the world from Italy to Australia to Chile.
  • CIEE - CIEE has numerous programs the world over and also provides information about working and teaching abroad
  • Center for Study Abroad - CSA markets itself as being a low cost provider of study abroad programs. Destinations include China, Russia, Brazil, New Zealand and others.
  • Arcadia University - Programs by Arcadia range from Greece, to Scotland, to Australia.
  • University of Minnesota- The University of Minnesota has a variety of programs available to non-U of M students offering destinations throughout the world.
