Cardiff, Wales
Internship with the National Assembly for Wales

Wales Internship program website

Ohio University offers a range of internships in the National Assembly of Wales, Great Britain. The Assembly is located in Cardiff, two hours west of London. The program is open to American students across the United States.

The Assembly is part of the devolution drive of British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who won a landslide election in 1997 on the back of promises of referenda for government in the regional areas of the United Kingdom: Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Interns may work with political parties or assembly members (AMs). Applicants have a large degree of say in their own placement.

  • Winter (January - April)
  • Fall (September - December)
