Fine Arts Study Program in London
Spring Quarter 2010
All majors are welcome! Whatever your goals are, in London you will find ways to enrich your global awareness. All undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate in the College of Fine Arts Study Centre in London, England.
Students will enjoy once in a lifetime opportunities to experience world-class theater, art, and music. Past London participants have seen plays starring Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, Zoë Wanamaker, Kevin Spacey, Maggie Smith, Simon Russell Beale, Ned Beatty and others. We’ve attended special exhibitions including the Impressionist Sketch, Magritte, Dali, Rembrandt, Star Wars, and Art Nouveau.
The famous Tate Modern on the south bank of the River Thames stands close by the brilliant reconstruction of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The Barbican Centre, with its rich offerings of traditional and cutting-edge concerts, drama, and art is a regular destination for our participants. ALL of these experiences are interwoven into the curriculum of courses that satisfy general education requirements!
